Yesterday, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords announced that in the coming weeks, she is retiring from Congress. Supporters of Our Generation should remember her as a tireless advocate for a Congressional salary cut, which has worked tirelessly on during three terms in office. She has been successful in her efforts by not seeing a cut, but not seeing Congressional salaries increase since 2009. She will be missed and we hope her the best in the future.
